We all lead busy lives and the older I get the more clear it becomes that doing an activity that you love on your free time is the best way to recharge your batteries. Some people like sports, some prefer relaxing activities, some prefer creative ones. I like to sew and the past year I started being more into colouring. I started with adult colouring books and recently I was introduced to Davincified. It instantly took me right back to my childhood! On crossword puzzles there used to be a game where you coloured in between specific lines to reveal an image! Davincified follows the same concept but with numbers and the image is already known.
Every Davincified kit comes complete with everything you need:

The paint has a high-opacity formula and it covers the numbers and lines in a single coat, so running out is rare. You have the option to get a rolled canvas or a stretched canvas (either pre-assembled or to assemble at home). I chose the rolled canvas because I would like to frame it and hang it on the wall. The brushes that it comes with have a great size and you can paint even on the smallest parts. They are also a very good quality and distribute the colour evenly. The paper version came in handy a few times when I needed to check back on the number on a few spots.
The design I chose is a vase with magnolias. I wanted to get something that is beautiful and meaningful to me. Magnolias are one of my favourite trees. I have a big white magnolia outside my childhood bedroom so it brings back beautiful memories.
I found the Davincified painting by numbers a great activity when you want to relax. Because the paint is provided and it’s all numbered I felt like my brain can finally switch off and enjoy the process. The final product looks so nice and it makes me smile every time I see it! You can also paint it with your loved ones while you catch up. It takes a while to finish so keep that in mind. I enjoyed it so much that I’m planning to get another one in the future. Maybe for next time I can pick a Christmas related one to paint while watching Christmas movies on my holiday break. The thing I love the most about this concept is that the colours are already provided. Most of the times this was my biggest problem in colouring books, the colour I had didn’t match the image.
