How to style your one-piece swimsuit – Beach edition

First time that I’ve been in the North sea and I was too happy! As you already know from my previous post I love the sea. I can stay all day long into the water but in the Netherlands this is impossible because the sea is not as warm as in Greece. Anyway last weekend we went on Zandvoort with Alex and we did a photoshoot and a little bit of swimming. The sea had a nice temperature but outside it was cold for me.

Before my vacations in Greece, I bought this one-piece swimsuit with which I fell in love from the moment I saw it. I wanted an one-piece swimsuit for a long time and when I saw this one I wanted immediately. It’s from the brand New Yorker and I can wear it both at the beach or as a top. Now that I’m back on my regular schedule with my posts I want to do a mini series posts on how you can style your one-piece swimsuit from morning till evening, from the city till at the beach.

At the beach the perfect style for me is to combine your swimsuit with a pair of shorts, a kimono and flat sandals. It’s also perfect to go on a beach party with. For the head I like to wear a hat, a headscarf or a headband. This time I chose to wear a flower headband from Claire’s.

What is your favourite beach style?

Είναι η πρώτη φορά που βούτηξα στην βόρεια θάλασσα και ήμουν τόσο χαρούμενη! Ξέρετε από το προηγούμενο post μου το πόσο πολύ αγαπώ την θάλασσα. Μπορώ να είμαι μέσα στο νερό όλη μέρα, πράγμα που φυσικά στην Ολλανδία δεν γίνεται γιατί η θάλασσα δεν είναι και τόσο ζεστή όσο στην Ελλάδα. Την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα πήγαμε με τον Άλεξ στο Zandvoort και κάναμε φωτογράφιση και λίγο μπάνιο! Η θάλασσα είχε καλή θερμοκρασία αλλά έξω είχε κρύο για τα δικά μου δεδομένα.

Πριν από τις διακοπές στην Ελλάδα αγόρασα αυτό το ολόσωμο μαγιό το οποίο ήταν έρωτας με την πρώτη ματιά. Ήθελα καιρό ένα ολόσωμο μαγιό και όταν είδα το συγκεκριμένο ήθελα να το αγοράσω το επόμενο κιόλας δευτερόλεπτο. Είναι από την εταιρεία New Yorker και μπορεί να φορεθεί και σαν top. Τώρα που επέστρεψα στο κανονικό μου πρόγραμμα με τα post σκέφτηκα να κάνω μια μινι σειρά απο post με θέμα πως να συνδυάσετε το ολόσωμο μαγιό σας από το πρωί μέχρι το βράδυ, απο την πόλη εώς την παραλία.

Ο τέλειος συνδυασμός για μένα για την παραλία είναι με ένα σορτσάκι, κιμονό και σανδάλια. Είναι επίσης ιδανικό για κάποιο beach party. Για το κεφάλι επιλέγω συνήθως ανάμεσα σε καπέλο, φουλάρι ή στέκα. Αυτή την φορά επέλεξα ένα στεφανάκι με λουλούδια από την εταιρεία Claire’s.
