Joanna Tsaousidou re-launch!

January 17, 2025 No Comments

Joanna Tsaousidou

Hi, and welcome to the new blog name Joanna Tsaousidou! Took me months to decide whether or not to change the name of the blog from The Colourful Bouquet to anything else but I finally pulled the plug last year. This year it was about time to re-launch the blog and tell you what to expect on this new chapter of Joanna Tsaousidou!

THE IDEA

There is no growth without change! 2024 marks 10 years since I started my blog, my creative outlet. As you may know I’m a certified esthetician & my daily life at the beauty studio is far from creative. I always craved creativity, so I started a blog for fun & to show the world my outfits. To help other petite girls like me dress in a way that make their heart happy! The more I did it, the more I loved it. But it didn’t grow as much as I wanted it to.

People often in this job go after the money. Mainly because there is a misconception that being a blogger/digital creator, name it as you want, will give you millions. That might be true for a very small group, as can happen in any other job. I was never after the money, I did it, & still do, to make people fall in love with themselves! It took me years to accept that I’m short and I struggled a lot when I tried things and never looked the same as on the model. But that’s ok! I want to show to the world that you can be fabulous no matter your size, because being awesome comes from within! It’s the way you treat other people, your kindness, your compassion. But it never hurts to have a fabulous outfit too, am I right?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Reflecting back on these past 10 years of my blog I realized I did many things wrong. How can I expect people to follow me and get inspired if I don’t get more personal with them. I will never be on social 24/7 but I want to show you more of my life & the funny side of me! I debated whether or not to have another generic name. The Colourful Bouquet doesn’t feel like me anymore. It would have been a pink bouquet, not colourful after all!

But there is nothing better than my name to represent me! Ioanna(ee-o-ah-nna) Tsaousidou(ʧa-u-SSI-du). ʧ sounds like ch from church! So welcome to the new era of my blog, Joanna Tsaousidou! I chose Joanna because it’s easier and was available in all platforms!

THE LOGO

I wanted the logo to be very personal as well! So I chose to include the name Joanna Tsaousidou in the logo but not have it plain. So I combined the J and the T letters together to great a simple and elegant design. Instead of a dot on the J, I went with a little heart. The heart has a meaning as well. Ever since I was a teenager (and still do) whenever I signed my name I always added a tiny heart next to the last A letter. Of course not when I signed legal papers! Think about signing cards or letters etc. Although it would be cute to sign legal papers with a heart as well, haha!

WHAT TO EXPECT

I used to have the blog as an outlet to post literally anything regarding my outfits, trips, life updates. From a new piece of clothing or accessory, to travel inspo etc. My idea about Joanna Tsaousidou is to make it more refined. I’m thinking to post around 2-4 times per month. This will give me enough time to create a valued for you post without getting a burnout. I still work full time as a beautician and I try to post on Instagram and Tik Tok 5-7 times per week.

So regarding the posts I’m thinking to bring back the Runway Inspirations series. For those who don’t know, this is a series about the trends of the season that I like and ways to style them on your everyday life.

Another post I’m thinking to include is a round up of my favourite outfits of the month alongside with a life month recap. Maybe do a top 5 outfits of the month or something. Also thinking about creating more collages with how to style certain items in different ways, splurge/save in a more editorial way.

In general I want to treat Joanna Tsaousidou blog as an editorial way of expressing myself and have social media for the everyday life. But all that after the 2024 recap posts!

Let me know what you think about this and let’s impress the world one fabulous outfit at the time!

There is no better feeling than wearing something There is no better feeling than wearing something you made yourself 🥹

Both times I attending Paris Fashion Week I wore, for at least one of the looks, something I made 🪡 This year I went for a black glittery top and matching skirt! I made the skirt back in 2024 to wear to my best friend’s wedding party as her made of honour. I made the top in 2025 to wear to the @santinni_london party!

The theme I chose for the last show of @modaproductionsofficial was “dripping in diamonds”! The glittery set was the perfect base for it. I combined it with rhinestone tights and headband. Sparkly accessories and my favourite Santinni coat were the final touches!

This glittery set is proof that you don’t need a lot of clothes, you need the right ones! Not gonna lie, when I first made it in 2024 I didn’t think I’ll ever have another occasion to rewear the pieces. But I already wore the skirt 4 times and this top 2!

Before my trip to Paris I bought the @guerlain limited edition case from the blooming demin collection in the colour Red Rose. To match the case I bought a lipstick in red colour as well, I chose the shade 777.

I felt fabulous wearing it, it made me feel so beautiful and confident! What lipstick colour makes you feel the same?

A pink turtleneck top combined with a burgundy/plum pair of trousers and black boots. A burgundy/plum coat and bag finished the look!

A transitional winter to spring look in my favourite colours! The coat wasn’t needed in the mid of the day but was necessary in the morning and evening.

How lucky did we get with the weather in Paris? I How lucky did we get with the weather in Paris? I was afraid that it would be raining and being cold but it was perfection so I managed to wear some spring looks!

Polka dot on polka dot is a surpringly bold outfit choice for me but I love how this look turned out! The fabric of the skirt and top are very similar, both feel like chiffon, and they are both flowy and romantic.

The polka dot skirt is new and I’m not gonna lie the only reason I bought it before my trip was despair! Dramatic, I know 😂 Before the trip my belly was super bloated due to anxiety, only one pair of trousers fitted and I wanted something to make me feel nice! The skirt is elastic and it’s very comfortable to wear, size S and M didn’t have much of a difference on the waist. They were both very comfortable! I kept the size M because the ruffles looked nicer and extra curly! Regardless the reason I’m glad I bought it because it’s cute and perfect for spring and summer outfits!
