Friends are the family you choose and I couldn’t be happier with my family in the Netherlands! Every time I look back at these pictures all I feel is gratitude and lucky ❤️

Making friends as an adult outside of work is difficult but when you find your people it’s so rewarding! I’m so grateful for my girls, they make Netherlands feel like home! And if it’s hard to make great friends in your own country it’s a million times harder to make friends in a foreign country. So I consider myself very lucky and grateful that I have so many amazing friends in my life in the Netherlands!

My sweet girls, I love you so much ❤️ You make Netherlands feel like home and before I met you I didn’t think that would ever be possible! Cheers to the most beautiful people inside out ❤️

The outfit I wore at the wedding deserved a separate post!
I love planning outfits especially when it comes to big events! So for the wedding of my childhood friend I already started planning since last year!

You might think I’m joking but I’m not 🙈 I took screenshots of the hair, dress, jewellery and shoes back in December!

Every time I plan an outfit I start by choosing the main star of the look. For this outfit initially it was the shoes! @bellabelleshoes asked people to vote back in October their favourite design and the one I liked won! So I had the idea to build a pink outfit around that! A couple of months pasted by and I saw the @houseofcb dress on Instagram! I instantly fell in love and I knew it had to be the main character of the look! It’s simple yet stunning and it would compliment the shoes very well!

One day in December while scrolling on Vinted I saw the necklace and it was an instant YES! I already bought the pink earrings and the pink ring so it would match perfectly! While looking for ponytails/updo hairstyles I stumbled upon a picture of Hailey Bieber from the Met Gala. This barbie inspired ponytail was the perfect one for this look! A huge thank you to @diana_stoforidou_hairsalon & @diana_stoforidou for not only nailing the hairstyle but made sure it would last till all night long! I felt like a princess!

Even though the shoes are not released yet the rest of the outfit came out as I had it in mind! In the end I wore heeled sandals and with the heat of Greece it was probably a great idea! Unfortunately I had to change to flat shoes mid ceremony because the insole of the heels was completely ruined. So ruined that I started feeling the wood part of the shoe! Ouch! The irony was that I took it to a shoe maker to fix it (the end of it came unglued) and got it back on the morning of the wedding 😒

Not gonna lie it bothers me so much that you can see the lining of the trousers on the third outfit 🙈 But I accidentally ripped the hand stitch when put them on and didn’t notice till I edited the video 😭

Let’s talk wedding related outfits! The wedding was a 3 part celebration, the bachelorette (already posted the outfit I wore 😏), the pre-wedding party and the actual wedding with the wedding party!

For the pre-wedding I chose to go for a total navy blue outfit, trousers and a sleeveless shirt. I combined them with a navy blue belt, nude sandals with rhinestones and gold jewellery. I wanted the star of the outfit to be my @chanelofficial earrings and I think they look great against the dark colours of the outfit. I chose flats because the pre-wedding party was in the garden of the bride’s home and I knew I would dance non stop!

The outfit I wore for the ceremony was planned around this fabulous dress from @houseofcb 😍 It has the perfect pink colour and I felt like a princess! I combined it with silver and pink jewellery, pink nude heeled sandals and a pink bag! My dream outfit 😍

For the wedding party and the dinner I changed into something more comfortable! Don’t get me wrong, the pink dress was a dream but has a build in corset therefore is tight. Plus it was heavy! I wanted to be anle to fully enjoy myself, dance freely and eat as much as I wanted! So I chose to wear a floral maxi dress combined with the same jewellery and gold heeled sandals. The sandals have short block heel and I could dance for hours! Later I wore flat sandals because by 3am my feet where killing me after all this dancing! I kind of regretted it because the flats weren’t that comfortable either! Actually I think only workout sneakers would be comfortable at that point 😂💃🏻 I took the video of this look the next morning hence no ponytail or jewellery 🙈

@chris.tina.chion and @joaoalmeidaesousa wedding was a highlight of the trip to Greece! I can’t believe it’s been more than a month since they got married! Apologies it took so long but the perfectionist in me wanted to post the content in chronological order 🙈

Christina is a great childhood friend of mine and one that I hold dear to my heart ❤️ It’s truly magical to see your childhood friends get married! To be present in some of their most important moments of their lives and celebrate with them!

My darling friends it was an honour to be there to celebrate your love! I wish you your life to be as magical, exciting, beautiful and happy as your wedding day was ❤️ I love you to the moon and back ❤️

From the decor, to the food, to the vibe and the music, everything was amazing! Swipe to see some photos from the party as well! On the last collage there is a video of me dancing at around 3am, not a drop of alcohol in my body, just vibes and having fun! We didn’t take many photos or videos at the party because we were busy dancing! We had the best time and you can tell from the photos ❤️

Bare with me I’m almost done with the vacation outfits 😂
A total brown outfit combined with pearl jewellery!
I wasn’t sure about the top combined with the shorts, they are not a set, but I went for it. Looking back to it, I think that the shorts are probably to wide and relaxed for the top but I got a compliment when I wore it, so it’s a win!

10 years ago we traded the blue crystal clear wate

10 years ago we traded the blue crystal clear waters of Greece for the canals in the Netherlands!

Two years into our relationship with Alex and we decided to leave Greece and move abroad to the Netherlands. I will never forget the moment we said goodbye to our loved ones at the airport. I had my brave face on and didn’t want to cry in front of them. But the moment they couldn’t see us anymore I cried so much!
I remember being excited for the new beginning yet terrified about the decision we just took. It’s never easy to leave everything behind and go. Do I miss leaving in Greece? Sometimes yes but Netherlands is now home ❤️
Not gonna lie it was super hard to build a life abroad. Move to a new country in a city you don’t know anyone, not speaking the language and not knowing if you can make it was terrifying! Thank goodness I’m delulu and optimistic for the both of us! And speaking for us! Noone tells you how challenging moving abroad is for a relationship but we made it stronger and happier!

10 years pasted by and I couldn’t be prouder of us and everything we achieved ❤️ It’s the first year after finishing university that I’m finally happy with every aspect of my life! Took years, tears and lot’s of hard work but I’m grateful for the life we build here! Grateful for Alex that was my rock, strength and hope! Grateful for our support system aka family and friends in Greece and grateful for my new friends in the Netherlands that made it feel like home! But most grateful for our brave 25 year old selfs that left everything behind and chose to chase their dreams! We owe them everything! Not gonna lie, I’m also grateful for being delulu because it kept me sane when building a new life 😝
